NEW MADRID, Mo. (KFVS) - The New Madrid Police are asking the public for help identifying those responsible for recent vehicle break-ins.

Investigators say the break-ins happened in the area of Mill, Davis, Capital, St. Christopher, St. Francis, and St. Matthew Streets.

Police are asking that anyone living near those streets check their security camera video for any suspicious activity, individuals or vehicles. Officers are asking for camera owners to specifically look at the video shot between 1 a.m. 5 a.m.

Anyone with video that could potentially help officers is asked to call the New Madrid Police Department at 573-748-5226.

Police officers are advising everyone to keep their vehicles locked when they are parked.
