"Not in our house," SCSO said on social media.

According to the sheriff's department, an individual was brought into the Sutter County Jail on charges not associated with drugs. However, after a routine search during the booking process, the person was found to have more than an ounce of suspected fentanyl.

According to correctional officers on duty, the suspect was behaving oddly and evasively before the discovery of the substance.
