HERMISTON, Ore. – The Umatilla County Fair wrapped up its four-day event in Hermiston, drawing crowds with its lively atmosphere and diverse offerings. The fair, a staple in the community for over a century, continues to bring together family, friends, food and fun.

Beth Wheeler, a long-time Hermiston resident, shared her excitement about her new role as the fair coordinator.

"There's something different every moment of the fair," Wheeler said. This year marked her first time working behind the scenes.

Wheeler emphasized the importance of hospitality in making the fair special.
