REIDSVILLE, N.C. — The parents and sister of 27-year-old Brianna Parker spoke through tears at their Reidsville church, remembering her as strong, sincere, loving — and above all — faithful.

Less than a week after her death, Ervin and Porcia Best, along with their oldest daughter, Bianca Best, shared their grief and pain.

“It’s devastating. It is so devastating,” said Brianna's mother, Porcia. "She didn't deserve this."

On Tuesday, August 5, Reidsville Police found Brianna unresponsive and with stab wounds at a location in Reidsville. She later died at the hospital. Police arrested and charged Ana Tonche-Garza with voluntary manslaughter in connection with the death.
