GREENSBORO, N.C. — Even on a rainy day, the excitement inside Kiser Middle School is hard to miss. Students, staff, and community members gathered to celebrate the unveiling of the brand-new 180,000-square-foot facility — a major upgrade nearly 70 years after the original building opened its doors.
Principal Merrie Conaway, who has been with Guilford County Schools for over 30 years, says the transformation is remarkable.
“Just having watched this building go from just the foundation to what it is today — I can’t even describe it,” she said.
