BALTIMORE — Six people, including a 5-year-old girl, were shot in Baltimore on Saturday, according to police.

Police were called to the area of Spaulding and Queensbury avenues in northwestern Baltimore around 8:46 p.m. ET, a Baltimore Police Department Commissioner Richard Worley said during a press conference.

Six people were found injured and taken to the hospital, consisting of two females and four males. Police say victims range in age from 23 to 52.

One man is in critical condition and the 5-year-old girl was shot in the hand, Worley said. The extent of other injuries remains unclear.
