Coventry is an ancient city that can be dated back to at least the Anglo Saxon period. As with any place with over 1,000 years of history, we've likely collectively forgotten more facts than we can remember, and often when it comes to 'interesting facts' the same ones get regurgitated - we've all read them online and on this very website.

So we've tried our hardest to find some little-known shreds of knowledge about our city that we think the average Coventrian will not know. Yes, some of them you will know, and I'm sure there is someone out there who knows all of them.
