It's a good idea to dress in light and loose clothing, grab your sunglasses, pack extra water, and to plan on getting any outdoor activities done early today as you get ready to head out the door Friday. A strong ridge of high pressure off the coast, and additional areas of high pressure to our north and east will drive sunny skies, dry conditions and hotter temperatures through early next week. Temperatures will stay relatively warm overnight, and the potential for dangerous heat is on the way for your afternoons through early next week.
