North Idaho College will host its inaugural NIC Color Fun Run on Saturday, Aug. 23, and there’s still time to get in on the fun. The event features a 5-kilometer color powder run through NIC’s Coeur d’Alene campus, where participants will be showered with colorful powder at various points along the route. The powder is made of cornstarch and can easily be washed out. Registration for the NIC Color Fun is open now and same-day registration will be accepted. Registration is free for NIC students and individuals aged 18 and under. For all other participants, the registration fee is $20. Each registration includes a T-shirt, bandanna and sunglasses while supplies last. The fun run begins at 1 p.m.; check in at 10 a.m. The fun run is not timed.
