Packers coach Matt LaFleur still sees value in playing starters

An uninspired performance by Jordan Love and the Packers ’ starting offense didn’t appear to have coach Matt LaFleur second-guessing his decision to expose them to injury risk in a preseason game.

LaFleur sent Love and the starters out for a second series after a three-and-out to open the game, but that second drive didn’t go much better. In their two series, the starters on offense picked up only two first downs, barely crossed into Jets ’ territory on the second possession and failed to put up any points.
