BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The heat and humidity will start to build into our forecast today, which will continue in intensity as we progress into the start of the work week. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny today. High temps will top off from the mid 70s to low 90s with dewpoints rising into the humid mid 60s. Wildfire smoke will continue to sit across Maine in lighter amounts, producing a noticeable haze. This afternoon, a few isolated pop-up showers and even a rumble of thunder or two will pass through a few inland areas in the Central Highlands, Millinocket region, and Upper Penobscot Valley. Most will get by today with dry conditions. SW gusts will reach 20 mph.
