On any given Wednesday, Jaclyn Duncan can be found cruising in her Riedell 3200 roller skates at Trenton’s Cadwalader Park.

For her, skating offers a rush like no other.

“Roller skating checks a lot of boxes for a lot of people. Obviously, it’s a physical activity. So, exercise releases endorphins and dopamine and all those happy chemicals in your brain,” said Duncan, 47, who started Trenton Sk8s in April 2022.

From May to September, Duncan hosts a free weekly adult skating event every Wednesday, 5:30-8 p.m., at Cadwalader Park’s pavilion at 36 Parkside Ave. in Trenton
