For as long as I can remember, I wanted to move to London. And, as most London-fanatics in Brazil, I wanted to make sure everyone was made aware of this.

I'm talking whiteboards that imitated red telephone booths, small placards that read “London” followed by a British flag on display in my bookshelf, and the burgundy sweater with the exact same print that I wore to school a little too often, but wouldn't dream about wearing it here. So, from Anglophile to long-term resident (which I'm sure establishes my qualification as a credible source), here's what I wish I knew before moving here.
