CLEVELAND — At least one person was injured in a shooting at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds on Saturday evening, 3News has learned.

A Berea Fire Department spokesperson told 3News one patient was transported to the hospital from the scene.

According to Candyce Traci, a spokeswoman for the Cuyahoga County Fair, the shooting took place inside of the fair, on the midway. It happened just before the fair was set to close on Saturday night.

On Monday, Lt. Tom Walker of the Berea Police Department provided more details.

"Shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday night, a group of approximately 10 young adults became involved in a physical altercation inside the Cuyahoga County Fair Event," Walker explained in an email to 3News. "During this altercation, an 18-year-old male suffered a gun shot wou
