A ‘snake’ is on the loose in Wythenshawe - according to some worried residents.

Concerned neighbours believe they spotted the reptile in their back gardens in the Baguley area on Sunday afternoon, August 10.

Sharing an image on social media, one neighbour pictured the creature appearing to be curled up between the plants in their garden.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News , they said: “My neighbour spotted it and she said that it's probably in our garden.

“So I went out to try to find it but I didn't know what snake it was and [if it was] dangerous.”
