The Metropolitan Police have issued an appeal for information after a man was killed following a collision. The police were called to Noak Hill Road in Romford at 2.35pm on Saturday, August 9.

The police attended alongside the London Ambulance Service. The latter treated a 49-year-old man at the scene before taking him to the hospital.

There, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced dead. The collision involved a motorbike and a car, and the deceased was the motorcyclist.

His next of kin have been made aware. They are being supported by specialist officers. The driver of the car stopped at the scene and they are assisting police.
