POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (WSIL) -- One person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Sunday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 1:40 a.m., on August 10, along Business 67, less than a mile west of Poplar Bluff.

State police said a 20-year-old was driving a 2013 Porsche going west when the vehicle ran off the road and crashed into a ditch.

The 20-year-old was flown to Regional One Medical in Memphis with serious injuries.

State police reported the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
