Tennessee women’s basketball player Ruby Whitehorn was arrested in Knox County on Friday and is facing felony charges of aggravated burglary and domestic assault, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel .

The incident reportedly stemmed from a domestic dispute.

According to court records obtained by the outlet, Whitehorn claims that she saw the victim in a parking lot outside her residence and went outside after hearing glass break. 3

The victim then allegedly got into a physical altercation when her dog got loose and she went to retrieve it.

She said she subsequently ran into her residence with what she thought was her phone but later realized was Whitehorn’s phone.

The victim alleges that Whitehorn kicked in the front door of her residence and chased her upstairs. 3
