SEATTLE — The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for much of western Washington through Tuesday night.

KING 5 has activated First Alert for this weather event, which could affect lives, property or travel in the Pacific Northwest region. During this event, the First Alert Weather Team will bring you the latest information to keep you and your family safe.

KING 5's First Alert Weather will be in effect Monday and Tuesday.

Hot daytime temperatures are forecasted to be in the 80s and 90s, with overnight lows in the 60s and urban heat islands only dropping into the mid-60s or warmer.
