Two people were killed and another was wounded in a Pines Village shooting Sunday afternoon, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Police were called to the 5900 block of Boeing Street just after 2 p.m. A man and woman were declared dead on scene and another man was taken to a local hospital, police said.

Police did not immediately release more information.
