Sudbury’s most anticipated hiking event is back: On Saturday, Aug. 16, the 8th Annual Sudbury Camino invites outdoor enthusiasts, families, and community members to lace up their boots and explore 28 km of Sudbury’s scenic section of the Trans Canada Trail.

Inspired by the historic Camino de Santiago pilgrimage , the Sudbury Camino offers a local experience that blends adventure, wellness and community connection, organizers said in a release.

“Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend the day outdoors, this event is designed to celebrate Sudbury’s natural beauty and trail networks,” the release said.
