RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - With the evening light fading on Saturday, Aug. 10, the crew of Echo 1 rescued a mountain biker who got separated from friends in the forest northwest of Kirkwood, according to an El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.

The team used an exposed rock outcropping for a one skid pickup and transported the biker to Strawberry Creek Trail for reunification, the Sunday, Aug. 10, post said.
