Syracuse, N.Y. — A 35-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday evening on Syracuse’s South Side, police said.
The shooting was reported at about 8:05 p.m. at Midland Avenue and West Newell Street.
The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he is in stable condition, according to Sgt. Thomas Blake, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department.
Police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call them at 315-442-5222.
