TRUSSVILLE, Ala. ( WBRC ) - It’s a faith-filled mission taking place in Trussville as bigger church groups come together to help a small church build a new one.
“To have other churches in the community to say ‘hey we want to come alongside you and make this happen,’ that’s been the real blessing for us,” Pastor Derrick Jordan of Hope Everlasting Ministry (HEM) said.
First Baptist Church of Trussville’s Men on Mission, CrossPoint Church, and others are teaming up with Hope Everlasting Ministry to build a more than 300 seat sanctuary next to the HEM’s old church. The project brought in volunteers from a handful of states for a weeklong community build.
