A Fulton man is facing multiple felony charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of prescription drugs intended for distribution, authorities said.
According to officials, agents with the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit, along with officers from the Fulton Police Department and deputies from the Itawamba County Sheriff’s Department, arrested Zackery Merchant on Tuesday, August 5.
Merchant is charged with Felony Possession of Xanax with Intent to Distribute and Felony Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Distribute.
Bond was set at $20,000 by Honorable Judge Harold Holcomb.
