SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Spring Hill Police Department is investigating after a teenager was found shot multiple times in a parking lot on Sunday night.

Officers responded to the Grand Reserve apartments at 3085 Commonwealth Drive at 8:15 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

When police arrived at the scene, officers located a 17-year-old boy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot.

SHPD said the teen was taken to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The shooter is believed to have left the scene in a blue sedan with damage to the right front bumper.

SHPD detectives are investigating the shooting.
