GREEN BAY — When Matt LaFleur devised his preseason playing time game plan in advance of Saturday night’s 30-10 debacle of a loss to the New York Jets, the Green Bay Packers head coach was thinking he’d play his starters twice: Against the Jets, and again in the Aug. 23 exhibition finale against the Seattle Seahawks at Lambeau Field.
While LaFleur reserved the right Sunday to change his mind and have his starters see action in this week’s preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium, it’s more likely that quarterback Jordan Love and his crew will devote their energy to Thursday’s joint practice with the Colts and then take Saturday off.
