Los Angeles Police Department said authorities in the Californian city are pursuing "armed and dangerous" suspects who have carried out multiple carjackings, including of a big rig and pick-up trucks.
The pursuit began late on Sunday night in the San Fernando Valley, ABC 7 reported, and continued into the early hours of Monday morning, as the suspects allegedly carjacked different vehicles in a chase that went through downtown Los Angeles.
The chase began with a pick-up truck, which the suspects ditched for a white big rig in downtown Los Angeles, FOX 11 reported, and they took off on the 5 Freeway near Sylmar.
They then allegedly jacked a white pick-up truck and sped away in Boyle Heights, the report said.
