CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland Metroparks Zoo announced an extension of their Asian Lantern Festival on Monday.
The festival, presented by Meijer, will now run through Sept. 13.
“Due to overwhelming demand, we’re thrilled to extend this unique after-hours event, allowing even more guests to explore the magic of the lantern displays and new additions like Dragons Landing, complemented by a dozen illuminated dragons, including a 100-foot-long ‘ice and fire’ dragon display,” said Cleveland Metroparks Chief Marketing Officer Kelly Manderfield.
The extension includes two extra weeks for customers to enjoy the festival
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo also announced the return of Wild Ride on Sept. 14, where guests can ride their bike through the Zoo after hours.
