Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Governess for South Lunzu Constituency Caroline Mlenga has come out of her cocoon to endorse Independent Shadow Member of Parliament for South Lunzu Constituency Alex Achalume Chimwala ahead of the September polls.

Initially Mlenga supported DPP Shadow MP Veronica Ndalama who is representing the party in the constituency.

Speaking during the rally organized by Chimwala at Chitukuko Ground in Area 8, Machinjiri Township in Blantyre Mlenga accused Ndalama of bribing delegates during DPP primaries.

“Let me confess hear, MP Veronica Ndalama bribed delegates with money amounting to MK200, 000 each but without that Chimwala could have carried the day during DPP primaries.

“Now am urging the people of Machinjiri not to do similar mistakes that delegates did.
