An easyJet pilot has been suspended after reportedly walking around a luxury hotel drunk and naked.

The captain was scheduled to fly holidaymakers back to the UK from Cape Verde the next day but was grounded by the airline.

The man is said to have arrived at the five-star £1,569-a-week Melia Dunas Beach Resort and Spa on August 4.

He then went to a bar and embarked on a drinking session which lasted into the early hours of the morning.

At 2.30am, the captain removed all his clothes and walked into the reception area.
