A dad has been told he has six months to live, with the courageous man determined to raise awareness about the disease he has prior to his death.
Des Longstaff, 40, was being treated for an aggressive stage four cancer - oesophageal adenocarcinoma- which has tragically spread from his windpipe to his liver.
His diagnosis was devastating, with the man sharing it all started when he struggled to eat a sandwich when he was at work.
He told the Mirror : "I have about six months to live. I was told yesterday. I have had a tough life and I genuinely would do anything for anyone. I am still trying to help people out now. I don’t feel poorly. But I won’t be having any more treatments.
