PINE TWP., Mercer Co., Pa. - Mercer County firefighters were called out early Monday after reports of fire and explosions in Pine Township, east of Grove City.

A 911 caller reported that flames had spread through a thirty-foot camper containing an air compressor on a wooded property at 4 a.m. along the 1200 block of Enterprise Road.

The report stated that cans of paint in the camper were exploding.

The first firefighters on the scene reported that the structure had been destroyed by the blaze.

In addition to the flames and explosions, firefighters were concerned about arcing electrical lines above the fire. Penn Power was contacted to cut the power.
