Coventry City have a quick turn-around after their opening season fixture against Hull, welcoming Luton Town to the CBS Arena on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup.

The game is likely to be used to get important match minutes into players who missed out in the Sky Blues ' goalless draw with the Tigers, but Frank Lampard will also be keen to rest a number of his personnel who are recovering from knocks and niggles picked up over the pre-season programme.

Those include the likes of Jack Rudoni and Ephron Mason-Clark – both of whom had been nursing injury issues in the build-up to Saturday’s Championship curtain raiser - while City were hit with a fresh blow when skipper Ben Sheaf was forced off at the weekend after just seven minutes of going on as a late sub.
