SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. - The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Warning for central and western Siskiyou County from August 10 at 8 a.m. to August 12 at 2 a.m.
Communities like Weed, Yreka, Montague, Etna, Fort Jones, Happy Camp, and Somes Bar are expected to experience high temperatures. Siskiyou County Public Health officials are urging residents to take precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses.
