LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (WBTW) -- One person was taken to the hospital early Monday morning after fire damaged three boats in Little River, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.

Crews were dispatched at 12:53 a.m. to the 700 block of Highway 17 in Little River, where the fire heavily damaged one boat, caused heat damage to two others and left three people displaced, HCFR said. No information about the person's injuries was immediately available.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
