WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WFRV) - The 2025 Wisconsin State Fair ended on a soggy note as flooding and storms led officials to decide to shut the fair down on its final day.

Following flooding in southern Wisconsin, fair-goers could be seen leaving from the fair Saturday night by wading through floodwaters that were reported to be anywhere from ankle to knee high.

According to a release from the Wisconsin State Fair, organizers decided to close the fair on Sunday, but say those who planned to attend on the fair's final day could have a chance to exchange their unused tickets to attend the fair in 2026.
