Last season’s forgotten man Raphael Borges Rodrigues is expected to be handed his first competitive Coventry City start when the Sky Blues host Luton Town at the CBS Arena in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night (7.45pm).

The 21-year-old right winger, who joined the Championship club from Macarthur FC last summer, has managed just 23 minutes of first team football to date – eight off the bench in the league and 15 as a sub in the FA Cup .

To be fair to the lad, his City career came crashing to a halt before it had barely begun when he suffered a significant muscle injury in his first friendly outing just over a year ago.
