CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Chicopee police are investigating a stabbing on Springfield Street that happened Sunday afternoon.

Chicopee police say one person was stabbed at around 3 p.m. but is expected to be okay. A suspect has been taken into police custody and officials report that there is no threat to the public at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, and 22News will provide more information as soon as it becomes available.
