LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two individuals and one dog were hospitalized following a reported car versus e-bike crash in Lake George on Friday. The incident reportedly occurred at around 10:15 p.m. on State Route 9 in the area of the Lake George Battleground Campground.

According to the sheriff's office, a Chevrolet Equinox and an e-bike were driving southbound on State Route 9 when the car attempted to make a U-turn to go northbound. As a result of the turn, the e-bike reportedly struck the side of the car.

The e-bike operator, 26-year-old Chase Wormuth of Diamond Point, passenger 19-year-old Araeh Williams of Chestertown and their dog were ejected from the bike, authorities said. Wormuth and Williams were taken to Glens Falls Hospital and later transported to Albany Medical Center f
