Rob Edwards says he hopes there is a quick resolution to the Rav van den Berg transfer saga - with the situation ‘ongoing’ and the defender still not being considered for selection.

Van den Berg is the subject of interest from a number of clubs - most notably FC Koln in Germany - and has made clear to the club that he wishes to leave. With that in mind, Edwards took the decision to omit him from Saturday’s win over Swansea City, describing it as the right thing for the group.

While Edwards has left the door open for Van den Berg to return to the fold if a move doesn’t happen, for now, the Dutchman remains unavailable for selection.
