A woman has been jailed after she called her partner a 'dirty dog' and attacked him on a bus.

Katie Bland also threatened to knock a woman's jaw off after she tried to intervene in the altercation.

Bland, 31, and her partner had had a tumultuous relationship that came to a head on January 6 this year, a court heard.

The man, who is in his 70s, said that Bland would be abusive towards him and ask for money.

Prosecutor Nathan Davis told Bradford Crown Court: "He left after an argument and she would call him and be abusive and ask for money.

"At 4pm, she found out he was at Halifax bus station and attended and was abusive, calling him a racist word and a dirty dog.
