A mother has been widely supported online after defending her 21-year-old daughter's right to spend—and occasionally show off—the luxury items she buys with her own earnings.
The woman took to Reddit under u/rich-plane2730 to describe how her daughter, Danica, has been "extremely independent her whole life," starting work at 15 and now holding a part-time job at a large corporation while studying at university. The post has been upvoted more than 14,000 times.
