BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Sewer announced it will begin pile driving on Monday at the Bird Island Treatment Plant to install foundations for odor control systems and other infrastructure.
The project, which is expected to finish Sep. 12, is part of a $250 million investment of Queen City Clean Waters $1 billion initiative to reduce combined sewer overflows in area waterways.
Crews will only work during weekday hours from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
