Donald Trump just made a very unfortunate verbal blunder as he appeared to forget just where Alaska is in the middle of his own press conference.

The US president was meant to be announcing a crackdown on crime in Washington DC, but, in his usual manner, went off on a tangent and started talking about his face-to-face meeting with Vladimir Putin this Friday.

Trump chose to invite the authoritarian Russian leader to meet him in the American state of Alaska this week for peace talks meant to help end the Ukraine war.

Even though it is meant to be a pivotal moment for the conflict, Trump seemed to forget where he’s going altogether today.
