Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies say two local businesses were cited for selling alcohol to minors during a round of compliance checks.

The HCSO says deputies went to 25 stores during the check as part of an ongoing effort to promote safe and responsible alcohol sales in Hamilton County.

Here are the two stores that were found in violation:

1 Stop Package 8425 Dayton Pike

Lakesite Wine & Spirits 8711 Hixson Pike

The HCSO says clerks at both businesses were cited to appear in sessions court.

The business owners are scheduled to appear before their respective Beer Boards at a later date.
