High school students throughout Hamilton County Schools now have even more reason to roll up their sleeves and save lives, thanks to a contribution from local law firm Summers, Rufolo & Rodgers.

The funding will support a district-wide challenge aimed at increasing blood donations among high school students during the 2025–2026 school year.

Blood Assurance says a total of $75,000 will be awarded to schools that collect the most donations.

The donation has two primary goals: supporting schools and inspiring more people to donate blood.

All high schools in Hamilton County will be grouped into three divisions, small, medium, and large, based on student enrollment.

Schools will compete within their divisions to earn awards based on the number of blood donations collected through December
