Showers are drying out as they move into Mid-MO from western Missouri late this morning. Overall, many will see plenty of dry time this afternoon with a few spotty showers off and on through the evening.

More showers are expected overnight and early Tuesday morning. Some of which will produce heavy rainfall. The more likely area is north of HWY 24.

Temperatures on Tuesday will be fairly similar to today. Highs will be in the middle 80s with a mostly cloudy sky. It will still be muggy with dew points in the lower 70s.

There will be more dry time and sunshine the remainder of the week.

Along with the increasing dry time, temperatures will increase. Highs will gradually increase over the next several days leaving us with highs in the 90s by Friday and continuing into the weekend.
