RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - A warm and humid pattern holds with a few hit or miss showers and storms today and tomorrow.

FIRST ALERT: Developing tropical storm Erin in the Atlantic will most likely stay offshore, not making landfall on the Eastern U.S. Closest approach to shore will be in the middle of next week.

Wednesday: Patchy early morning fog. Mostly cloudy and humid with a few morning showers possible. A few showers and storms possible in again in the afternoon. Late afternoon and evening looking dry. Highs in the upper 80s. (Rain Chance: 30%)

Thursday: Partly sunny, hot and humid. Scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Lows in the low 70s, high in the low 90s. (Rain Chance: 40%)
