BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - TODAY’S FORECAST : We keep a fairly typical summer weather forecast in place today. Expect a sun/cloud mix, hot and humid conditions, and a few pop-up afternoon showers and t-storms. Most are expected to remain dry with the exception being along our coastal parishes today.

WETTER PATTERN TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY

Rain chances will be on the rise over the next few days. An influx of tropical moisture tied to a weak tropical wave will move close the local area. This feature will help enhance rain chances into the likely category Tuesday and Wednesday. Neither day will be a wash out with both mornings staying mainly dry. Make sure to have the rain gear for afternoon errands or evening commutes.
